If you are looking for a nice juicy burger and some delicious crinkle-cut fries, this is the place for you! Though it can get a little crowded/busy the service is outstanding.
The SmokeShack is my personal favorite. Applewood smoked bacon and chopped cherry peppers. Yum! -

This is a super fun burger joint! The burgers are awesome, the fries are good (not great in my opinion because I'm not a big fan of crinkle cut), and the shakes are outstanding.
It's always really busy and so sometimes there's a bit of a wait. And the prices are a little high.
Overall, this is a great place to check out!
FYI - The parking is a little frustrating inconvenient because it's street parking with meters. But hey, lots of places are. -

I'm here at least twice a month. My friends and I are always happy with the food and the staff is always very friendly. It's a small restaurant and on Mardi Gras they were very busy so there wasn't an open table but after a few minutes of waiting, there was something opened!
My go to order is a smoke shack, cheese fries, and a strawberry shake!! Very tasty -

We were finally in the neighborhood and made it into Shake Shack. Good stuff!
My husband and I both ordered the Mound City Double, which has provel cheese, bacon, and a special St Louis sauce. This was a delicious burger!
The fries are crinkle cut and were hot and crispy. We also ordered a chocolate malt. It was rich with a great chocolate flavor.
The workers were helpful, the place was clean, and we enjoyed the atmosphere.
The only drawback is the price -- it's nothing something we would get regularly, but it is a nice treat. -

Delicious! I love Shake Shack! Second to In & Out, Shake Shack is my favorite franchised burger joint! The burgers were delicious and that Shack Sauce is something epic and too be appreciated. The staff at this particular location could use some education in proper bed side manner; ie common customer service, but I am not going to let them get in the way of this review as the food was epic.
Double Shack Burger with extra Shack Sauce = Win
Smoke Shack Burger = Win
Shack Fries = Win
My only knock is that Shake Shack doesn't have more locations within the STL!
Nonetheless, if you are a burger connoisseur like I am or just looking to spice up your normal burger routine, located in the heart of Central West End, try Shake Shack - you won't be disappointed, better yet you won't leave hungry!
